Stories of Us

The COVID-19 pandemic was unlike any crisis the world has ever experienced in living memory.

The world came to a standstill.

Borders were closed.

Planes were grounded.

And all of us were compelled to stay home.

It was, at the time, the new normal.

Everyone had a story to tell, and every story shared is a glimpse into someone’s lived experiences, hopes, fears and aspirations.

Through Stories of Us, these stories are preserved – in your own words and pictures – as a reminder of what living through a global pandemic means to us.

They say hindsight is 20/20. And indeed we will look back at 2020, but not with regrets, but at how much we’ve grown as one people.
